These included using pencil markings and a nano wire to conduct electricity,
discovering the magnetism of a dollar bill,
and exploring hydrophobic versus hydrophillic properties, among others!
Thanks to University of Virginia Professor Jerry Floro and his team of graduate scientists, all fifth graders enjoyed a morning of hands-on science experiments!
