Students have created individual "Parking Lot" game boards to practice Place Value up to the hundred-thousands place. (We will also use these later in the school year to practice rounding and decimals.) A call-out to retired teacher Janelle C. for teaching me how to make this, so that in turn I could teach how to do it. Example pictured above: student was told to create in standard form the number "Seventy-nine thousand, sixty."
